Earlier this year, we talked about why the Left Eye is the shit: she advocated safe sex, she burned down her abusive boyfriend’s house, and she did charity work with children in underdeveloped communities.

Long live the '90s.

That’s why we’re psyched that VH1’s Mixtape Festival will be presenting TLC on stage as a trio once again. We hear that Left Eye will be appearing on stage - as a digital projection made of archival footage. Awesome, and awesome.

The late Lisa "Left Eye" Lopes. "We love her and we miss her and that isn't ever going to change," says Rozonda "Chilli" Thomas.

The Hollywood Reporter reveals that T-Boz and Chilli will not only be releasing a new album but are also executive producing a made-for-TV biographical film, “Crazy, Sexy, Cool: The TLC Story”. Guess who’s playing Left Eye:

Lil' Mama! The resemblance sure is uncanny. We'll see if she can roll with the part.

The film will air on VH1 in the fall. Be pumped. Be very pumped.
