House of Deréon, the fashion label created by Beyoncé’s mom, Tina, has unveiled its ads for the Autumn/Winter 2012 line. This season's looks were inspired by Beyoncé’s stage outfits from last year's Glastonbury festival--appropriately, the girl that the line represents is meant to be a free spirit having an awesome time at a music festival. Beyoncé pretty much looks amazing in everything, so we're not surprised that she ... Read More

They say what goes on the internet stays on the internet, and it's true: the stars of today were the dorks of yesterday, making silly videos of themselves and posting them to youtube only to have them haunt them for the rest of their days. As for those who were around before youtube, well, their videos have been posted there by other helpful celebrity sleuths. Here are our top 10 favorites, featuring some of our favorite lady celebs.

The Metropolitan Museum of Art's annual Costume Institute benefit gala is unofficially one of fashion's biggest nights - Ralph Lauren declares it the "Super Bowl of fashion." A-listers, armed with their $25,000 tickets, came together Monday night in their most adventurous outfits to make an impression and celebrate fashion as an art at the Vogue-sponsored event. And while some of the sartorial choices on Monday shone, many fell flat, and some were just perplexing. ... Read More
If the Dowager Countess and I were frenemies in real life, she would probably ask me, "What's an Inter-net?" and to that, I would reply, "It is a place where this happens, THANK GOODNESS."

What do Jay Z and I have in common? We're both making a public vow to stop using the b-word.
In light of his daughter Blue Ivy Carter's birth, Shawn Carter (better known as Jay Z) announced in an open letter that he was going to stop using the word in his songs and life. Fatherhood has made him realize the hateful implications of this particular word--one he has capitalized on throughout his career with hit songs such as "99 Problems" and "B----- and ... Read More
Every teacher I’ve had since I was about ten years old has been giving me the plagiarism speech. It’s ingrained in my brain. Never steal someone’s words without giving them credit.
In print the rules seem clear, but what if it’s something like a dance move? It seems like copyright gets a little more difficult to define.
When it was brought to everyone’s attention that ... Read More
Beyoncé’s recent popular song, “Run the World (Girls)” has received a lot of praise as well as criticism for its so-called ‘faux-feminism.’ The song is fantastically danceable and fun, like everything she does, and sends an upbeat message basically saying that girls rock and ‘rule the world.’ Which, as we all know, is not exactly true as this video explains quite well.

GIRLS RUN THE WORLD! Beyonce, you are a beautiful Queen and I love watching you break it down in post apocalyptic dance offs, chanting girl power lyrics over Major Lazer's "Pon De Floor".
Beyonce, what more can I say? You're on a rearing black stallion in an all white suit. You're dancing in heels on sand. (A feat that I am sure is impossible, further convincing me that you are not in fact human, but some kind of amazonian deity of my dreams.)I love the way the ... Read More

Yesterday while promoting her campaign to end childhood obesity in America, Michelle Obama broke it down to Beyonce with a group of middle-schoolers in DC. I don’t know if she can get any more adorable (my guess is no). The first lady has better dance moves than I could ever hope for. Not only is Michelle’s Dougie super impressive, but towards the end of the video she totally brings it by doing The Running Man. It’s heroic, really. Check it ... Read More
