The BUST Craftacular took over SoHo on Saturday, filling the space at 82 Mercer with over 100 vendors and more than 2,000 craft enthusiasts throughout the day.
Set-up began early. 8 AM on a Saturday is not a time I see often, but it was totally worth it to see the transformation of the space.

Potter Abby Berkson started her business, Abby Berkson Ceramics, out of her home studio in Easthampton, Mass back in 2010 and her pots and mugs are just plain adorable. She draws inspiration from children’s books and from her days teaching ceramics classes where all the kids wanted to do was make things with their favorite animals on them.

Thanks to all the awesome vendors and attendees who came to the BUST Magazine Craftacular and Food Fair Holiday 2011 in NYC last weekend!
For two days, more than 200 vendors from across the country sold their handmade wares and edible goodies. Artist Katrina Balling started Ball and Chain Jewelry after she designed her own jewelry for her wedding in 2006. Her clever kitschy sterling silhouettes and crocheted chain jewelry are inspired by flea market finds and other unexpected sources.
The wood grain ring collection is a collaboration with her husband John Jacobsmeyer, who is also an artist, painter, and print maker -- he lends his engraving skills to the wood grain patterns.
