If you're like us, you watched the season 5 premiere of Mad Men last nite. And, if you're like us, you can't get the song "Zooby zooby zoo" out of your head today.
The song, sung and danced to in an excruciatingly embarrassing performance by Don Draper's Canadian wife, Meg, had us wondering two t hings: in what weird alien language does "zooby zooby zoo" mean "I love you?" And, WHAT IS THAT SONG?
Turns out the title is actually "Zou Bisou Bisou," which in Canadian ... Read More
And the March Madness continues! That horrible pun is not a reference to basketball, but to a different kind of TV event--AMC’s Mad Men, whose new season premieres March 25th.
Since the promo videos are comprised of old footage, fans have little to speculate about regarding the new season, beyond the cast photos released earlier this month. Befitting of a show about the creative process of advertising, though, the fanbase has mobilized, creating its own ... Read More
Restock your liquor cabinets and bust out your favorite bouffant hairdo, because Mad Men returns to TV on March 25! AMC’s mega hit has been in off-season for over a year, and the wait for season 5 has been unbearable. Thankfully, AMC recently released several fantastic promotional photos of the cast to tide us over until then!
Speaking as a huge fan, the photos and teaser promo videos that AMC has been releasing do not disappoint; the impeccable ... Read More
We're a month away from season 5 of AMC's runaway hit Mad Men. After an insufferably long break, I think we're all a little rusty on the tangled, sexy web our friends at Sterling Cooper Draper Pryce have been weaving. Fortunately, we found a handy graphic that maps out all the affairs, flirtations, and well I guess old-fashioned committed sex that made us love this show so much. Mad Men returns to AMC on Sunday, March 25 so study up!

While Mad Men won't be back till early 2012, if you're missing the fabulous style created by costume designer, Janie Bryant, fear not, you can still get a dose of it come August when her 65-piece collaboration with Banana Republic's creative director, Simon Kneen, emerges. Check out some of the looks below and my thoughts on some of the pieces.
I'm definitely digging the men's wear, I'm a sucker for a bow tie or sweater vest, but I'm not ... Read More
I blog a lot about fashion blogs, which I love and can't get enough of, but I thought I'd showcase one of the blogs I go to the most for entertainment news and fashion opinions I respect: Tom&Lorenzo. I only recently realized they changed their official blog name from Project Rungay to Tom&Lorenzo. It makes sense though since when the blog first began in 2006 it was primarily about Project Runway, but covers a lot more now. Even if you didn't ... Read More
(Or, alternatively, MY Personal (Brief) Ode to (and Mental Debate Over) Christina Hendricks)
Since my little ol’ post pertaining to Christina Hendricks seemed to cause a bit of a stir yesterday, I thought I’d share this newly posted BBC article with everyone. Many of the concerns that were voiced yesterday have also appeared in this article as well!
(Note: The following are my thoughts on bodies and such at this current moment in time. I have been known ... Read More
Just in time for last night’s season premiere of Mad Men (which I haven’t watched yet, so don’t tell me anything!), Christina Hendricks, the lovely Joan Holloway (whatever, she will always be Holloway to me, married to a turd or not), is being hailed as a fantastic role model for women and girls by Britain’s Equalities Minister, Lynne Featherstone. She is “absolutely fabulous,” so it goes. Of course I cannot help but agree.

Many of us here at Bust's HQ are enamored by Mad Men. The clothes! The 1960s decor! And let us not forget, the twisting and bold story lines. A few of us got to talking about television and our love for old television programs. Gilligan's Island came into the mix and we all decided - could our favorite ad execs be harpooned on an uncharted island? Some of these character comparisons are a little too close, if not funny. Is Mad Men a riff on ... Read More
