On a scale of one to obsessed, my love for the friendship that Amy Poehler and Tina Fey share would be labeled as “straight up obsessed.” So, you can only imagine my excitement when Vulture released this vintage picture of the two ladies hugging it out circa nineteen-ninety-something. According to Conan writer Brian Stack (via Vulture), it was taken at Lake Michigan in Chicago when the two did improv with Second City.
There are a lot of good ... Read More

They say what goes on the internet stays on the internet, and it's true: the stars of today were the dorks of yesterday, making silly videos of themselves and posting them to youtube only to have them haunt them for the rest of their days. As for those who were around before youtube, well, their videos have been posted there by other helpful celebrity sleuths. Here are our top 10 favorites, featuring some of our favorite lady celebs.

If you didn’t already know, Childish Gambino is the rapping alter-ego of Community star Donald Glover. His newest mixtape, Royalty, dropped yesterday, and it features RZA, Ghostface Killa, and Beck. But it's the voice who ends Royalty that really has us BUST-ies excited.
The fabulous Tina Fey appears on the final track, “Real Estate,” spitting some sick rhymes. With her classically awkward style, Fey half-raps “We droppin’ racks ... Read More

Last week, we heard that the next season of 30 Rock will be its last. What’s more, the season will be short—only 13 episodes. But don’t worry: if you are experiencing the early stages of Tina Fey withdrawal, The Nerdist podcast has the remedy. This week, host Chris Hardwick shared an hour-long interview with Fey, which can be streamed online or downloaded for free on iTunes.
Fey is possibly the most famous guest to ever appear on the weekly ... Read More

Tonight, 30 Rock will take another crack at a live episode, meaning that we'll be biting our nails while we watch Tina and Alec perform without the benefit of sweet, sweet editing. According to the NBC plot synopsis, the show will center around TGS airing live shows vs. pre-taped ones-- very meta:
"When their Kabletown bosses announce they will no longer pay for TGS to be a live show, Liz Lemon and Jack Donaghy realize their lives will actually be easier if they ... Read More

Remember that time when Christopher Hitchens wrote that whole ridiculous thing about how women aren’t funny? Yeah, I forgot about that too since I’ve been too busy laughing along with all the funny ladies who are staking their claim on the comedy scene.
From Tina Fey and Amy Poehler who get us lizzing every Thursday night to Kristen Wiig, Melissa McCarthy and rest of the bridesmaids who made the prospect of getting food poisoning a lot more ... Read More

Just when I think I can't love Tina Fey any more than I already do, she up and goes and does something to make me love her even harder. In this case, she hosts a 2-hour NPR special called "The Hidden World of Girls." It is so good that I really wish she could have her own series, like a female Ira Glass. Unfortunately, I don't think NPR gives anyone their own show unless they have two things: a shween and a speech impediment. But enough about that.

Literally started LOLing when I saw this one! Tina Fey’s daughter, Alice is photographed mid-stride looking fly as hell. Tina, on the other hand, looks like she’s a little jealous of her daughter’s swagger or is pissed at the paparazzi for attempting to crush the hustler spirit. Now this photo has become it's own internet meme -- been edited and morphed into all different scenarios. My personal fav is Alice sporting a top hat and cane. I ... Read More

Today a very special box of books came into our office.
We’ve been waiting very patiently for Tina Fey’s new book, Bossypants, and man are we stoked and honored to be mentioned on its pages! I plan on reading the entire book immediately but so far, I’ve laughed out loud a few times at the random pages I’ve perused. A long time ago (2004), before Tina was the media mogul she is now, we put her on our cover, and we’ve always remembered ... Read More

The good news is Tina Fey was the youngest person and the third woman ever to receive the Mark Twain Prize for Humor last week, and great comedians like Steve Martin, Amy Poehler, Betty White, and Tracy Morgan had plenty of great things to say about her. The bad news is PBS is lame, and they cut a part of her acceptance speech where she talked about Sarah Palin and the politics of conservative women. The unedited speech leaked, however, and went viral, exposing ... Read More
