Yay Summer!!! It’s mid July, the sun is in the sky and it’s mad hot yo. I don’t know about you, but I’m super sick of that plain one-piece I've owned for decades and all the bedazzled swimwear in Victoria’s Secret. No offense to all the Victoria’s-Secret-philes out there, but though their suits are often super cute, sometimes I feel a bit over exposed and flashy for my own comfort, and I don’t think I’m alone!

But not to fear, because BUST is naming this the “throw-back Thursday” of summers, so here are some ultra-retro bathing suit online shopping sites you need to check out, featuring bathing suits that are super flattering for every type of body, seriously.

Lime Ricki

Lime Ricki's got vibrant, colorful, vintage-inspired bathing suits for younger women of all shapes and sizes. (Sidenote: BUST Editor Molly has, and loves, Lime Ricki's Princess Rose One-Piece, below. "It manages the feat of being both seriously cute and completely functional, and the polka dot/floral combo has just the right mix of retro and modern style. Plus, it's belted, so it's perfect for any pool or beach days when you're feeling like TCB (taking care of business)."

Albion

This local family-owned company features clothing designed by women, for women--with a line of vintage bathing suits that will be sure to flatter those beautiful curves.

Shabby Apple

Designs and sells vintage-inspired clothing throwing back the classy clothing of the past, standing by the slogan: “women are beautiful and powerful when they are comfortable”

Unique Vintage

Totally cute bathing suits with styles reminiscent of a bygone era. They'll help you let out your inner pin-up girl.

Mod Cloth

My personal fave online shopping site, with insanely cute dresses and a sick retro bathing suit line to match. You can find styles that are as flattering as they are stylish.

So beautiful ladies, what are ya waiting for!? Put on your new vintage bathing suit and frolic off into the ocean for your majestic "Here to Eternity" kiss.
